Activities:  Attended the democratic caucus meeting and hosted a public forum regarding the jail in the City of Poughkeepsie.  Conducting extensive research on the SEQR process for the DCJTC/Jail Proposal.  Uncovered conflict of interest concerns.  City of Poughkeepsie should be be an involved agency every step of the way regarding this proposal.  We need to seriously address the many environmental concerns and full environmental impact of the jail.  Responded to various calls and emails regarding the county jail; FEMA; and local community events. Managed social media content.

Activities:  Attended the Legislative Committee Meeting of the Whole, the jail forum in Beacon and the Metro North Commuter Council Meeting.  Met with the Girl Scouts in Wappingers Falls and participated a Raise the Wage event with 1199 SEIU.  Conducting extensive research on the SEQR process for the DCJTC/jail construction.  Responded to various calls and emails regarding the county jail; FEMA; and local community events. Managed social media content.

Activities: Attended the legislative leadership meeting; the democratic caucus meeting; and a Black History event. Met with 3 constituents. Responded to various calls and emails regarding the county airport; the county jail; community events; and Metro North. Conducted extensive research on the SEQR process for the jail construction and started reading the Expanded Full Environmental Assessment Form.

Activities:  Attended the Democratic Caucus and the County Board Meetings.   Responded to emails regarding county vehicles; the legislative chairmanship; the fight for $15/hr.; criminal justice reform and our mental health crisis; economic development; and upcoming community events.

Bills: Voted against Dale Borchert for Chairman.

Activities:  Attended the Public Hearing on the Proposed 2016 County Budget.  Continued reviewing the 2016 Proposed County Budget.  Made numerous calls and conducted research pertaining to the resolution reducing the hours of Dutchess County Airport operations which is on the December county legislative agenda.  Also participated in the Permanent Citizens Advisory Committee to the MTA meeting and handled some commuter concerns regarding the MTA and parking tickets being issued at the New Hamburg Train Station by the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department. Responded to calls and emails regarding the timbering in Wilcox Park; the fight for increase in wages; criminal justice reform and our mental health crisis; economic development; family services and affordable housing; the 2016 County Budget; the Wappinger FEMA LOMR Application; and upcoming community events.

Activities:  Attended the B, F, & P Committee ADOPTION OF THE TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR DUTCHESS COUNTY FOR THE YEAR 2016; the committee amended the budget to include two new authorized positions for the executive branch and took some of the monies out of homeland security grant to do it.  Conducted an extensive review of the 2016 Proposed County Budget as well as the December Committee agenda as it relates to the County Airport. The Airport FBO wants to reduce its hours of operation from 7am-9:30pm to 7am-7pm going forward. Responded to calls and emails regarding the timbering in Wilcox Park; the fight for increase in wages; Dutchess County Airport; criminal justice reform; economic development; family services and affordable housing; the MTA and tickets being issued at the New Hamburg Train Station; the 2016 County Budget; the Wappinger FEMA LOMR Application; National Day of Action for Puerto Rico; and upcoming community events.
